Kitchen gadgets have entered the realm of the ‘ideal world’ where they are no longer simply novel drawer-clutterers but are versatile pieces of ingenuity that serve more than one labour-saving purpose.

Progressive, the leading American brand of kitchen accessories, has entered the Australian market with a diverse range of high quality, innovative utensils that are designed to make food preparation easier and less time-consuming.

The initial range of products includes the beautifully coloured Roll and Store Pin – a transparent rolling pin housing nine cookie cutters, in red, orange and yellow.  The ‘pin’ can be filled with ice when rolling pastry, which not only keeps the pastry cool but stops it from sticking.

The ‘collapsible’ collection comprises of colanders, mesh strainer, cupcake & cake carrier – all of which fold flat for compact, convenient storage.  Styled in cherry red and white and made from a sturdy polypropylene, all strainers, bowls and colanders are highly functional, user-friendly appliances.  The rectangular colander, for example, expands to a width of 60cm to ensure it can rest atop most sink sizes and the mesh strainer can be used for sifting powders and straining liquids.
