For every seasoned professional or home chef, the Hikaeme Set includes 5 of GLOBAL's top-selling Japanese knives, stored in a beechwood compartment for safe and easy access in your drawer.
The name Hikaeme translates to "discrete" in Japanese, as it provides a way to keep your premium knives without sacrificing kitchen countertop space. Made of CROMOVA 18 stainless steel which was developed exclusively for GLOBAL, each knife offers a razor-sharp long edge while staying pristine and stain-resistant.
Ice tempered and hardened to Rockwell C56-C58, each knife is also carefully designed with a weighted balance for superior performance in any cutting task. As with any GLOBAL knife, they feature smooth and seamless contours to prevent any food scraps from getting trapped, ensuring ultimate safety & hygiene.
Completing this set of professional quality knives is the beechwood storage unit, including knife type markings near every handle to help you easily identify which blade you need. It also features a hollowed shape underneath the handles, thoughtfully designed to safely & easily pull each one from the drawer.

We offer FREE standard AU shipping for all orders over $99.
We offer $12.50 Flat rate shipping to all orders under $99.
Your order will be delivered in 2-7 working days from dispatch, depending on your location.
Please note: We only ship orders to Australian residential or business postal addresses. We reserve the right to charge additional shipping fees for large or heavy orders. In particular, orders over 22kg and orders that are subject to cubing will be contacted for an extra postage quote.
Australia Post
Deliveries by Australia Post can be sent to any residential or business address in Australia.All courier deliveries ask for a signature on delivery. If no one is present when the courier attempts delivery, they will either leave your consignment in a safe place, or leave a calling card to collect at your local post office.
Shipping Timeframe
Most orders are processed and dispatched within 24-48 hours of the order being placed. We will endeavour to ensure your goods are delivered to you within the timeframes outlined for Standard delivery, however we will not be liable for late delivery by Australia Post. Late delivery does not entitle you to cancel the purchase. Matchbox's obligations in relation to delivery end when goods are collected by the courier for delivery to your nominated delivery point.
